Import & Export

Import Export (IE) Code India is a registration of an import and export companies with Indian Custom department that import and export commodities from India. IE Code is issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Government of India. IE Code application must be made to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade along with the necessary supporting documents. Once, the application is submitted, DGFT will issue the IE Code for the entity in 15 – 20 working days or less.IE Code registration is permanent registration which is valid for a lifetime.

TAN Card

Tax Account Number is commonly referred as Tax Deduction Account Number or Tax Collection Account Number, or simply TAN. TAN registration leads to a generation of 10 digits alpha-numeric code that is issued by the Income Tax Department of India. As the name suggests, it is obtained by the person responsible for deduction or collection of tax at source (TDS or TCS). Businesses while deducting the salaries of employees must obtain and mention the number. Specified criteria to collect and deduct tax at source are already prescribed by the Government. Also, it is compulsory to quote TAN of the assesses in TDS/ TCS statements and challan for payment of TDS/ TCS.

FSSAI

FSSAI License or FSSAI Registration is mandatory before starting a food or related business. The Food Safety and Standards Authority Act issues the FSSAI license.
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India and the State Food Authorities are jointly responsible for implementing the FSSAI rules.
This Act secures the laws relating to food and establishes science-based standards for food to control food manufacturing.
FSSAI licenses are of three types FSSAI Basic License, Central FSSAI license, and State FSSAI license. With the FSSAI license, there is also an FSSAI registration needed for the petty food retailers.

Who needs FSSAI certificate?

For all food-related businesses such as manufacturing, trading, restaurants, small eateries, grocery shop, importers, exporters, home-based food businesses, dairy farms, processors, it is mandatory to get an FSSAI license or FSSAI registration before commencing with the Company. This 14-digit FSSAI license number gives information about the producer’s permit.
